HRDA conduct staff performance appraisal each year as per its HRM Policy, once it is completed, those staffs who have performed well their duties, receive awards and appreciation letters from key staff through a large gathering composed of its staffs and stakeholders.
As usual, after the conclusion of the performance appraisal process, the event took place on 19th Jan 2020 in Kandahar city Taj Mahal Hotel. Besides of HRDA staff the stakeholders including H.E Deputy Governor of Kandahar province – Abdul Hanan Munib, Director of Kandahar Economic department (Mr. Gul Mohammad Aryan), Directors and Representatives of various Government departments were also participated.
At the beginning of the event, Mr. Sayed Abdul Hai, HRDA Managing Director, had opening remarks, welcomed all participants as well as delivered its opening speech – concentrated on summary of HRDA’s history, interventions and achievements coming from the implementation of 77 projects since its establishment.
H.E Deputy Governor of Kandahar province, thanked HRDA and its donor for all the humanitarian assistances provided to vulnerable Afghan communities since HRDA’s establishment. “These assistances caused multiple positive changes so far, remote and vulnerable community level” Said, by H.E Deputy Governor. Meanwhile, he requested from all such NGO organizations to have close coordination in delivery of humanitarian services as HRDA has maintained with Government and line departments.
Later on, seven ongoing project presentations were presented by their Project Managers regarding project implementation and their activities.
At the end of the event Mr. Mohammad Hussain was awarded as EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR, by the HARDA top management due to his best performance throughout his tenure, he was awarded with special gift and particular appreciation letter.
Consequently, those staffs who performed well in 2019, received their awards and appreciation letters by the delegations, and the event was closed through addressing special speech by Mr. Mohammad Saeed – HRDA Deputy Director.
